Country: | How to get people to click your ads? Hey all, I put up a blog a while back and I had big plans to make sure I posted every day, well, lets just say that I sort of fell behind, and now I have really let it go... Anyway, I have been checking the stats and my adsense and I am getting decent traffic, actually traffic is increasing, and I now have a PR of 3, but I get no clicks at all... I am going to start posting again more frequenlty to drive even more traffic... Anyway, it is a WordPress blog, and I can't seem to get the ads to show up on the secondary pages, when you actually click the headline of the days post... Any suggestions? The site is here http://www.CelebSign.com |

That is a very good idea, and that is why I was asking about getting the ads to show up on the second page... Within the blog post would be the best... I have had some success doing this with blogger.com blogs, but not with WordPress... | |

Doing this everyone wins, you and the advertiser. If you almost "force" the users to click, then all of us are penalised... the advertisers don't spend more money because the ads don't convert and we don't make money. Let's keep this symbiosis (publisher / advertiser) win-win =)

Also, I just found out that my site is now listed in DMOZ, I would have thought that I would have been notified about that, but I guess not, I just found it by checking out some stats on urltrends... I guess the next step is to try and optimize the ads a bit better... |
