I recently took off a domain I had in sedo, setup a minicontent site and started to run adwords on it.
The ads I'm having are identical, I swear, to those that were showing while it was parked at sedo, it is because I have respected the same targereted keywords on mi site.
In SEDO, I was getting $0.03EUR per click, with google I'm earing $0.03USD per click !! And they are the exact same ads !
Well, first of all, I thought parking clicks were paid cheaper, but it seems they're not at all. Now, EUR is higher than USD, so, I'm even getting less money while running adwords directly than what I was earning at SEDO !
Any comment on this ?
That's an interesting observation.
I was wondering the same thing ... so then when I was running an ADWORD campaign, I checked where my hits were coming from and visited the websites. Some of the clicks were actually coming from sedo websites. I'm wondering if they've partnered in a sense with Google to be able to present the adwords.
Yes, they are adwords, the question was why google pay cheaper to us than to SEDO.Originally Posted by scottatmu

Moral of the story: stick to sedo :-D
Yes, at least until you can setup a real complete site, not a minicontent place.
Actually, it happened even worse, I was just getting a third of the clicks I was getting in sedo, may be since now the visitors had real content to see/read, they kept reading to the bottom and then they left. Google never served more than one ad unit and part of other, so I could not have header/left/footer ads, well, I put them there, but they were blank most of the page loads.
