Re: SedoPro users are you happy?

I know a lot of people have been unhappy with Sedo as of late. I just switched to imontize last week. He is a forum member.

Rico..

I love sedopro. I do well there. If you want an invite please PM me and I will give it to you asap.

I moved all of my stuff from everywhere else strictly to Sedo.

Curious how there is so much Sedo bashing in other threads but some love sedo parking. Is that because the other negativity involved their standard program and not the Pro version? If the answer is yes, why is it more do not switch to sedopro, or are the requirements too high?

P.S. I am not big into parking but considering doing it a lot more so the invite is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: SedoPro users are you happy?

I just PM'd everyone the Sedopro codes. You HAVE to have a sedopro code in order to sign up.

PM me for codes as I will give them to anyone interested.

My names do much better at Sedo then they have anywhere else.

Re: SedoPro users are you happy?

SedoPro is great now that they have changed the advertiser feed.

BTW, If you want in, I'll give you and endorsement code.

No Dave, I use SedoPro and I can say that the "bashing" is justified frustration from the underperformance of Sedo.

This makes little sense because why are PapaStiz and Drop Business so happy with it?

Because they simply want the $$$ from the referral. I am not here to BS about performance. It simply doesn't cut it for me, nor dozens of others.

But don't take my word for it, visit one of the busiest threads on DNF right now at http://www.dnforum.com/thread176280.html

Re: SedoPro users are you happy?

Yeah, I like it much better. For my names it is doing alot better then parked else where. Some of the domains I bought in the past 2 weeks have preformed double then what they were at namedrive and at parked.com

I do have 1 or 2 that is not doing as good as they once were..but on the whole all the other domains make up for it.

I am happy with Sedo pro regardless of the referall.

I beleive you that your domains are no longer preforming well at Sedo but that does not mean others are not happy. I have accounts all over the place..

DS, Parked, NameDrive, etc...and SedoPro is doing the best for me right now.

I hope you get your preforming well again.

Re: SedoPro users are you happy?

Absolutely. Already - 24 hours later - and my top domain's clickthrough's increased 25% at NameDrive. So it's a no-brainer for me.

Whatever works for everybody.

I'm curious. What type of domains are they they took a hit? All of them or industry specific?

To show you how uninformed I am about affiliate programs (which I rarely if ever get involved in) I was not even aware the Sedo Invite Code was really an affiliate link. If I would have known that beforehand I would not have been interested in the invite codes.

Hard to see why it's an affiliate link since Sedo makes it appear the Invite Codes are actually a way to get better quality traffic clients thru personal referalls and not a marketing scheme. I am somewhat disappointed by this turn of events :(

A big issue for me is how do I know affiliate income will not be deducted from my income? I would not put it past some firms to do that even though they deny doing it I am sure.

Re: SedoPro users are you happy?

A little too late for me to analyze Sedo's future & revenue-generating mechanisms. As I explained, my 3-year relationship with them has been severed. My domains are slowly but surely being moved out.

Re: SedoPro users are you happy?

It is an "affiliate", on the other hand you are not able to signup without one either.

Re: SedoPro users are you happy?

Thanks for the heads-up Acroplex. I now doubt if I will be opening the Sedo Pro account since I was not aware the invite codes were little more than an undisclosed affiliate marketing program and apparently not really a quality filter to get good new clients as it appeared to be.
