My #1 domain earns $20/day. I wont even reveal the category. I know a guy who earns $275/day off of a single domain.

Really, that seems somewhat far fetched in view of the vastness of the internet and zillions of firms?

Plus, even if that is possible I doubt if there are that many good domains available in that category where others could successfully compete against him.

Sorry Real Names, I have to agree with Fatter on this one. One possibility of the strong revenue could not have to do with “zillions of firms”, but instead with just a few ppc providers. Why risk a monopolized search position?

Not saying that is impossible just that it seems far fetched unless he controls a very small little known niche market. If that is so and the niche market is so lucrative that he does not want to even reveal the category it is surprising such a popular revenue making niche is still there and small, and a secret. Just my opinion, of course I may be wrong.

I am pretty open about that if you check my website, which is in my signature: PPCIncome.com.

I have tried many of the services (currently testing DomainHop), and so far, I get the best results at DomainSponsor for about 95% of my domains.

Not saying that is impossible just that it seems far fetched unless he controls a very small little known niche market. Howard told me it would increase my revenue and he is 100 % correct so far - i move 1/4 of my domains to DS and get over 2 x what i got with sedo on all domains.

Most people here knows by my posts that I am as objective as I can be in these matters. I have an affiliate link from sedo, I have not installed the ones from Fabulous and DomainHop yet (these things are on my very long To-Do list). You can (and should) do the same evaluations with your own domains. I even have a disclaimer on the home page of my site:

Quantity of traffic is easy to evaluate. Quality is more difficult to evaluate and is quite subjective. The information on these pages is subject to change without notice.

I put most of my own domains at DS because that is where I obtain the best return, by far. On my site, I point out the best aspects of each of the competitors, as each has something to offer. I even ask each service what they would like to tell me that is important so that I can let you and everyone else know what they have to offer. If Fabulous.com (or anyone else) figures out a way to beat DS, then I will move most of my traffic there. I never use less than 3 services at a time, so that I can continually reasses the performance of the leading services.

I have put a lot of time and effort into evaluating these services for 1 reason: to maximize my PPC Income. I share the knowledge with you and everyone else and put in the effort to maintain a website. If I get a few $ for that (my referral income is small compared with my own PPC income), then that seems rather fair to me.

Similarly, Duke shares his knowledge and efforts on domain prices with everyone at DNJournal.com. He earns well-deserved income off of his website. I know him to be of the highest integrity, so I trust his reports on domain prices. That information benefits the entire community of domain owners (and many others too).

If you read DNJournal, you will see that one of the best developments for domain pricing is the PPC arena. PPC income provides an objective way of determining domain value: If a domain is steadily earning $100/day = $36,500/yr, then a price of $100,000 looks like a bargain (<3 years revenue). That is one of the most important things about maximizing the PPC Income on your domains: the more you earn, the more YOU value your portfolio.
