Why don't I make any money on Sedo?

I feel I have a pretty good portfolio, albeit small, fairly decent names, yet, with like 15 domains I am only getting like 2 or 3 bucks a month,,any ideas?
most of the names are listed in my signature,,,

if possible you might want to try and start accumulating some .coms no question in my mind that traffic for some of those domains is primarily going to the .com versions.

you can have 1,000 domains and earn $0

the question is... do your domains receive any traffic? if they get a couple of visitors per day then there is your answer. if they receive a hundred or so when combined then you should probably move your "portfolio" elsewhere.

Your portfolio looks more like investment domains and not traffic domains , develop them into websites , you gain 2 fold , increases the value of the domain and you get some revenue from adsense or other sources.

I have one domain - 25 days, 906 views, 17 clicks, $1.48 earned. I think Im just gonna foward it to one of my other projects. Does anyone know of any alternative domain parking services?

there are around 20 domain parking programs out there right now.. you can find the list as well as previews over at my site (signature)

Their payout is VERY low. I just moved a site from sedo parking, put up a quick site 50 page hand built site from the top overture payouts with G adsense providing ads and paid out more in 2 days than all last month. [mod]*** DO NOT PROMOTE YOUR OWN WEBSITE IN THE GOLD FORUMS STEVE ***[/mod]

Bottom line is: no traffic, no revenue. Or, if there is traffic but does not convert well you need to examine its source. Typically, by setting up your own DNS and keeping syslog/referrer logs for a while to examine all incoming traffic sources. Or, if your portfolio is worthwhile, you can apply for SedoPro that offers those stats for free.
