I am so happy I wanted to tell everyone I've just been accepted at Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN)!

What I know
YPN pays MUCH higher commision per click than Google but their ads are not as varied and well matched as Google.

How I did it.
I submitted 3 sites to Yahoo over a 3 or 4 month period which were all rejected. When I re-applied for MiniPlayer.info

I wrote in my application:

How much traffic my site was getting,
How well I thought their advertisers ads would match with my site
I thought it a shame to see all that money go to Google.

2 weeks later and I'm in!

Any other YPN-ers care to comment on their service?

Unfortunately, RPC rates with YPN have dropped over the past couple months. It's still higher than Google's rate, but not as high as it once was.

Yes, congratulations! Interesting from GT Web about the rate dropping. Has anyone any comments about YPN's contextual advertising i.e. whether or not it's as good as google's? How about the ad blocking? I'd be interested to see your comparisons, Demo!

I have kept caareful records of my adsense account so I'll post back in a month as I plan on switching all my ads out today.

YPN is starting to pay like crap.. so It's like having 2 Google AS accounts.

still the payout is a little higher than Google.... but nothing to be exciting about. You missed all the fun few months/years ago.

Ofcourse the ppc payouts will be lower, we can just see a lot of sites abusing the shit out of it.

And congratulations, Demo. You will find that their customer service is wonderful. I'd be interested to hear the comparisons after you've been on board a while.

Yes, YPN is just for US, and also when one gets the invite, the not-so-fine print does say that it is non-transferable.
