Did anybody actually find a .de registrar with an English interface that was not charging the earth for registrations?

Auctions on one and two letter .de domains totaled nearly $6.5M. Historic times -- just wish I had had a bigger pot of gold.

I was looking for 1/2 character both these registrars do not know they had been available as still saying 3 character minimum fo .de.
The big boys were neaten hands down by the German registrars somethng like 19,000 to nil.

You do wonder though how many people will fail to come through with the cash?
One I got direct thro a registrar for $700 had a high bid of $3,300 with sedo so that's encouraging!

1blu.de - who said they werent taking any pre-orders unless I paid the 3.90 euros from a German bank accountand they had names such as tv.de that were not pre-ordered. Some registrars are just sooooo stupid its unreal.

Sure, if you are talking about 1-10/a,b,c, etc none of those domains are owned by a registrar as far as I know.

So does sedo actually have anything to sell? There other problem is that the party they are potentially buying from know what they are flipping it for. There is also a marker in the marker for other potential buyers to use that might just Whois the owner.

It does look like most of the names were taken by those other then sedo partners?- as you say- some nice ballpark references for sellers.

but no german has ever typed it
(except he speaks some exotic language)
and has no reason to type ALT+0255
As you seem to care, some more options:

As you can see many people can simply type it from their keyboards.

i only informed you that "ë" does not exist in german
and that "ÿ" is even more useless under .de
you can buy 1000 useless .de domains, i do not mind
