Any help appreciated.

i wonder how a registrar sells his domain that runs his business on
do a whois on the domain and see who is the new registrar that took over their business
KuwaitNET Internet Services - www.KuwaitNET.net
Bashar Al-Abdulhadi - C.E.O.
Kuwait's First Hosting Services Provider since 1997, an ICANN accredited Registrar
They were always hard to get in touch with for tech support issues. I think they were a Pool registrar.
found their (AR) address posted on internic:
http://www.internic.net/registrars/registrar-275.html
That link simply gives the email address to an "ar.com" domain - which I now know was sold.
Yes, I know they are a lousy registrar. I'm hoping the sold domain name means someone else took up their company.
The mystery question: what registrar now has whiskey.info (as an example)
It's old information. I want their website presence so my friend can access his account. Any ideas anyone?
(Of course on Monday we could try their phone number!)

same address as the one posted on internic...could even be an apartment, I used to live on that street.
Just a quick follow up -
I called Rick Wesson on the phone and got the alice's registry website which is now www.alices-registry.com. I told him I tried that domain and it was unreachable. He acknowledged "we're having some problems with it". I checked the DNS data - problems with pointers to ar.com (their previous domain now sold!).
In any event, my friend got the authorization numbers and was able after SEVEN day delay to get them into another registrar. But since he was never able to get Alice's Registry to update the expiration date (even though they acknowledge he was paid up) he only got the expiration to 2008 instead of 2009. Not worth pursuing that problem any more. My friend is just glad to finally get out of Alice's Registry.
