Considering how badly Bed, Bath and Beyond is doing, it was overpriced.

"Bed and Bath" is a pretty common term, but really not worth nearly as much

This just proves that any name can be a winner if the right person comes along and wants it!!!!!

Cool Overpricing? What is Overpricing?

Imho,
There are at least 3 people happy:
-> Seller for the money.
-> Buyer for the domain.
-> Me, because I am happy when others are happy.

Please let people pay what they want for the things they want.
The domain is not crappy.
"Overpricing" comments are crappy.

Yes, it wouldn't surprise me if it was bedandbath.co.uk.

Probably similar to when streetmap.co.uk bought streetmap.com off bob.com for 157k

Interesting sale. Did Bed Bath and Beyond buy it? Its a lot of money for a three word domain.

I always wonder when a .com sells for so much if it increases the value of the name in other extensions. My company owns BedAndBath.tv for example.

Thumbs up Luckily for seller, buyer does not care about Estibot etc. ...

Estibot says $7,000.00 for this domain only ...
Again, we see that people pay what they can afford to get in their hands what they want.
They clearly don't mind that some people are upset.
... why should they?

How can a domain be "really overpriced" or "not worth nearly as much" if it sells for what the market is willing to bear?

Sure looks like it was priced at, and worth, 50k to me.

Hmmm ...
I'd better keep the money I saved the past 35 years in the bank.
Who knows how people react if they see me with a brand new ATV?
Maybe, some people would think i've stolen it.
Hey, maybe somebody will steal it ...
