Cool The big internet land grab

An interesting bit of PR for Dark Blue Sea in a major Australian newspaper. "The company recently sold bedroomfurniture.com for about $280,000. It bought the site for about $40,000 several years ago."

It will be interesting to see how the Australian market is perceived once it opens up (even in part) in June.

Its a dot com, not really relevant only to Australia.

dot com dot au is Australia specific so its growth will be a function of web usage and ecom in that country.

I think Australia is already geared up for it, whether they're ready for domainers and domaining is another topic all together

Is it just the domain name or name plus website?
If the sale includes the website, it is totally a different story.
