Step outside the domainer mindset. Open your eyes.

there are no "resellers"
there are just buyers

it is a fashion label in germany, 240 000 000 euros/year turnover

i got some stuff from them
and it wasn't cheap

The domain is only worth $1500 reseller acro most domainers will agree it was only worth 80k to brax.de and they only paid it because the lost their case you can get much better pronounceable LLLL.com for under 5k the domain brax.com is actually quite crap what other LLLL.com endig with a x have you seen that has sold for good money non. The seller must be buzzing lol its a top price its just that the company really wanted it .

chillking I think you're wrong. Just google brax and you'll see loads of companies that would have paid $80K to have the name. The difference is these folks learned the value of domains before their competitors (for the name) did. If several big boys named Brax got into a pissing contest over this name it would have gone for far more.

IMHO

I am not a reseller, chillking. That's like saying that a Formula 1 driver is a cabby. When you state that a domain that sold for $80k is "only worth $1,500" that simply means you personally would only pay $1,500 for it. That's your personal evaluation of the domain and an indication about your overall method of approaching domaining.

Yes so what yous are saying is companies called brax want it thats my point its only worth 80k to them and i would stick to what i said as you know who ever payed a lot of cash for it faced a case against them the last owner was lucky to win the case and lucky to sell for 80k thats a top price for that name most domainers will agree .

Dude, use some commas, periods and other marks to place "breathing points". As for substance, you don't make sense: a domain that you evaluate post-sale as worthless, has sold for $80 grand.

Ok fair enough So you're saying you would not have paid more than $1,500 for it. Does this make it worth $1,500?

I paid $1,500 for a domain that I later sold for $22,500 because I evaluated its potential to an END-USER. Never buy in order to flip for small chunks.
