Re: BusinessWeek: Click Fraud & Google

Click fraud is over-rated. All of the PPC Aggregators have an incentive to keep out fraudulent clicks and make sure their traffic is legit. Advertisers are willing to pay money to generate sales, and the marketplace determines the rates they are willing to pay.

At the end of the day good/great domain names are like gold.....the worst case scenario is that you end up putting up a page with affiliate links yourself....this might pay more in the long run anyways.

Click Fraud is the one of the issues that is keeping these buying opportunities at such ridiculously low levels. Type-In traffic of just a few legitimate hits per day is worth a lot more than you can possibly imagine.

Every single new business from now until the end of time will likely need a good domain name.....it's almost too easy. PPC is just bonus money that pays for the renewals. Any name making a ton with PPC could be making a ton more just by developing the site and putting up your own sales links.
