    Cloud.com domain bought by open source start-up

    If you were going to start a cloud computing company, wouldn't cloud.com be the perfect domain name? With all the hype surrounding cloud computing, it may be surprising that cloud.com wasn't gobbled up by a major corporation such as IBM, Amazon or Microsoft. After all, cloudcomputing.com is owned by Dell.

    the people that bought it got it for a steal. I know of at least 3 people that would have paid 7 figures for this name had they known it was for sale. Bad marketing really.
