    WSJ has an entertaining column about the 47M register .com domains names. Some facts about the universe of registered .coms:

    -"Home" is the most commonly used term in domains -- 719,000 domains contain "home"

    -Of the 1000 most common words in the English language, the word “consonant” is the least frequently used in .com domains, with only 42 domains.

    -Each of the letters of the alphabet has a domain in which the letter is repeated 63 times (e.g. bbbbbb…..com)

    Unfortunately the slant of the story was negative, 'All the good ones are gone'.

    I seem to remember reading a very similar thing about 6 months ago. But I guess it keeps the old dotcom alive.
