Please don't tell Germans .net domains are worthless. They love them.
I do have some .net's. So are you saying that unless a member likes a particular extension they should not post in a thread involving the unliked extension?
Sometimes a dot-net can do OK depending on the category and its use such as your example and creditcard.net of course. If an established or good site with an easy to remember url they can also get direct nav traffic from past visitors and people who remember the URL as in your case apparently.

Great sale!! Congrats. I love .net's
IMHO It depends on your end goal... if you want to build a proper longterm brand get the .com. If you want a great exact match TLD that IS MEMORABLE but will ultimately leak sales to the .com then the .net is absolutely fine if you want traffic, rankings and revenue.
You are & will always be a thorn in the side of the .com so theres your easiest buy out opportunity especially if you can outrank them.
I dont let extensions stand in the way of ranking a domain and making revenue.
Money talks.... 301 it later if vanity matters that much![]()
Sweet Deal! good price for the seller and the buyer!
