Hey! THats too low for such a great domain ,,, too low.

I am not crriticising on the seller's view but anyone in this industry knows, this is a shocker for a such a premium domain to go so lowly...
Buying your expiring .net.in, .co.in, .in cctld. OFFER NOW . Bought 65+ domains already!
PS: I am not accessing DNF too frequent since Oct'09 and may not be too frequent till Mar'10.

yes, it is. this can be the reason of such a low prced deal as 1400$ = 68000 INR. NOt big amount even for a lower / middles executive who earns on an avg. 20000 - 40000 INR monthly income.

also, this guy has taken the domain reseller program as well and made a domain reseller website.. wow! fast & good job!

Or perhaps it just proves that it is not such a premium domain. Would the dot IN have gone so cheap or indeed the Hindi script versions in dot IN or dot Com? Somehow I think not!

    Perhaps it because it's a .co.in

that is a pretty cheap sale. even with it being the .co.in. From what I have read in the past, .co.in is the one most in India use.

For India idn.com is not even worth this much, idn.in is not available as yet afaik.

Why you should not believe everything people write.

    Exactly right.

Its a nice name, but thats about it.

Plus that standard reseller page is such a waste of the name imo.

NO offence to anyone, but in context to this thread and posters,
    1) how many of us are currently living in India
    2) knows about the commercial usage of the cctld .co.in and .in
    3) have been monetizing thru .co.in and .in

    1) Most of the people who comment on indian cctld should know the people, it's place and market psychology and trend.
    2) Know the facts and see the commercial value attached to it. Not only the big brands but small companies and SMES too
    3) you know this better.

.co.in and .in are curently competing with each other and yes, i do agree .in has an edge but mostly among domainers as domainers tend t be the major contibutor among the reg of domains, spl in indian cctld.

and i accept with Samit's post in one of the other forums:

.co.in has its own place in the sun, has been around longer too, more credibility developed as earlier it was mandatory to have documentation (company registration etc) to get the name in .co.in. Problem is that .in is just shorter... and a preposition, plus it has greater acceptability, both among the domaining community and the new developer initiatives.
Buying your expiring .net.in, .co.in, .in cctld. OFFER NOW . Bought 65+ domains already!

Sometimes sellers need quick cash and bargains happen, particularly in today's climate.

I, and many others were not aware it was selling as I for one would have paid more.

It was also dropped a year or two ago and this was picked up by seller!

Yes Wat , I agree, it seems of seller looking for fast cash, that's it!
domain.co.in was not dropped but was transferred 2 years back.

rubber duck, Monitoring is indeed good for analysis and report , but the details for the monitoring depends on us on how we develop the domain to monetize.
