If you are new to domains and looking to buy, sell and learn about domains then you have come to the right place. DNForum is the largest domain name community on the internet and continues to grow every day. There are over 105,000 domainers on DNForum doing everything from buying domains, selling domains, learning about domains and discussing domains. Take a minute and Register.
Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!New today, I think... I was doing some domain searches using Dotster, and instead of getting their usual listing of what's available in .com/.net/.org/.info/.tv etc with checkboxes next to them, I got the other domains like that as usual but above them was a checkbox for .info which said:
Dotster Suggests:
thisdomain.info - Where the world goes for information
("thisdomain" being whatever domain name I was looking at). When the .info domain is not available, the list with checkboxes comes up as usual, but when it is available, the .info is highlighted and suggested for registration.
Dotster is backing .info as the new standard.

And profit, never comes without an expected return. Duh, 90% of all web surfers use the internet to search for information. 10%, use it to consistently surf porn sites and do naughty things.
Wake up! No, dream on.
If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end in doubts; but if he will be content to begin with doubts he shall end in certainties. Sir Francis Bacon
I am not smart enough to tell figure 90% vs 10% out of nuffin.com. But I thought majority of internet users mostly use email. For those who would search information they would go to their favorite search engine like yahoo.COM or other .COM search engine to do the search, because most people are not aware that .COM cannot provide INFOrmation and many people still don't know .INFO exist. If I want to invest money on promoting my website, I am sure that I would not want to limit my website to provide INFOrmation only and nuffin.com else. After all, most INFOrmation on internet are free and business cannot survive on FREE lunch from dumpster.
Seee goh thats why most webmasters dont place well in the se's they try to COMbine evrthing ..in the end they cant be for but on the other hand a site thate prodives the precise .INFOrmation you are looking for well place much higher !

No wonder the .info registration figures just keep climbing. Afilias should be able to hit the 1m mark in 2-3 months.Originally posted by jalapeno
