    E8.com Acquires Six New Domains

    ASPEN, Colo., Aug 14, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- E8.com, Inc. today announced that it has successfully acquired six premium numeric domains from Marchex, Inc. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

    Domains included in the sale are:

    -- 252.com
    -- 444.com
    -- 880.com
    -- 8008.com
    -- 8808.com

"Equally exciting is the fact that the close of the acquisition coincided with E8.com's initial incorporation on August 8, 2008 (8.8.8) in the state of California."

    E8.com, Inc.'s initial capitalization structure includes a 99% ownership stake by Aspen Edge Research, LLC and a 1% ownership stake by Moover Toys of Copenhagen, Denmark. Moover Toys initial 1% equity investment in E8.com, Inc. totaled $88,888.88 valuing E8.com, Inc. at $8,888,888.88 at inception.

    Nice sales.

    I guess even speculated @ a value of $8,888,888 upon inception, that wasn't enough to acquire 888.com

    Would they be lucky for what they did get or unlucky for not having (arguable) the better 888.com? W/o 888.com - can they really have unifying supersymmetry?

    Curious to see what comes from turning on the new super collider, I'm sure the E8 group is convinced we'll get our first glimpse of super symmetry in action. We haven't even physically proven a 4th spatial dimension yet, despite the mathematics taking us out to 248 dimensions.

    I felt 4-D once.....but that's a long story......

    hmm... this statement stands out for me ....valuation of the company ...
    $8,888,888...

    a simplistic way of valuating a company ....hope we dont see shares for this company being sold based on that valuation on domain forums
