Whatever the reasons are I haven't seem any significant sales there sicne I started checking them each week while compiling data for Domain Name Journal's Domain Sales column. Some nice sales aretaking place these days, just not at Ebay.

Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I noticed awhile back that they changed the domain sales section to a place where it was and still very hard to locate without doing a search. Anyway, the first time I have went back in a month or so and it appears the usual numbers have droped and I went through several pages and only found a handfull of bids. Do you think it's intentional or they are so large they don't even notice?
What kind of category is this?

In no way do domains belong under Desktop PC Drives & Components much less Technology Books & Misc.

I figured when they made the change it would drop sales because it's too hard to find. I've never made any huge sales there other than one's I've prevoked via pointing the interested parties there but I was a nice addition.
Dropping, did they ever do well ?Originally posted by JoltHost
ebay domain sales dropping?
lower priced names about to expire seem to sell for me
(but only for just above reg fee, to cover the ebay/paypal costs and give me the reg return back, i don't have the cheek to ask fof a $15 transfer fee) :(

just my opinion, but the reason I stopped visiting ebay for
my domain needs is because every auction there is private,
and really bad names have 40 bids and shoot to crazy prices.
it's quite obvious that 99% of the bids on private auctions
are the sellers jacking the price.
i don't know about you, but i don't like bidding against the
seller.
