Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!After seeing paranoia of some members about Fabulous.com's relationship with NameJet, I decided to contact the Operations Manager at Fabulous and ask about their clarification on the topic.
Please note that I am quoting only those parts from the communication which are relevant to the topic on-hand --

Thx for the info
And Can you ask someone, the question What is the relationship between GoDaddy.com and parked.com ?

Where I have heard that before? LMAO
Fact is; Fabulous is going into the auction business, if their not pushing customer expired domains to auction now, it's only a matter of time before they do, once they see how much profit can be made from it.
A lot of Registrars are going this route and they have every right to make money, but customers with premium domains should be feeling very uneasy about it. Not saying Fabulous would do this, but Registrars are using a lot of tricks these days NOT to renew your domains, or find a violation in the TOS so they can confiscate them from your account, then push them to auction. It happens!.
One thing at Fabulous should be concerning, You have 3 options for Renewals, If you transfer a domain in or Register a new domain, it uses a default. Can you guess which one of these is the default?
1)Do not automatically renew this domain
2)Automatically renew this domain for 1 year
3)Automatically renew this domain forever
Anybody?
Please vote Republican in 2012, America can not sustain another 4 years
of Liberal policies that are fiscally and socially destroying the country..
I'm very satisfied with Fabulous. It is cool that they are aalmost the first registrar who plans to give the registrant a cut of the money that expired domains are sold for. The only other registrar who does this is Network Solutions AFAIK
Domain deals are a click away

Hi all,
Just so you all know, if we plan to make this available to customers, it will be an opt in program. And as mkellerman mentioned, the domain owner will receive a share of any revenue generated from the domains sold.
If there's any further questions, please let me know.
Cheers,
Mike

Any update on this as yet ?.
DG
Hi DG,
I would say we will be ready to roll this out in the first few weeks of the New Year. Most of the staff are out of the office until January 5. I should have a better idea then.
I'll keep everyone posted once I have more information.
Cheers,
Mike
