    Go Daddy Cuts Off Chinese Domain-Name Registration

    Wise choice.

    Almost impossible to register a .CN domain.
    We quit offering .CN to our resellers last year due to the new rules in december.

    All in all a shame.

    I never knew they offered .cn.

    Not exactly on my radar to begin with.

    I doubt it will have much of an effect for either party. But China is probabaly glad - more people going to Chinese registrars for them so the money stays inside the country.

    I read an article 2 months ago that the .CN sales got axed in half. Alot of Chinese people are going for .com now. Easier to obtain one.
    And keep in mind that even tho China has a huge population it is only a small portion of that population that is active on the internet.

    .CN and .com had a nice fight being mostly registerd domain
