dnol - have you tried other ISPs? Either the one for your computer or, if available, a browser on your phone? Dial up? Broadband? Wifi hotspot / cyber cafe?

mya.GoDaddy.com is ok,not totally blocked,might be some porno sites at godaddy,these sites got blocked easily or might be automatically.

it is not a big problem,i remember certain Asian countries block google or yahoo before,also myspace.

I think most governments would go after sites that were illegal in content, the US shut down several sites earlier this year promoting travel to Cuba that were hosted in the US. Normally they don't go after the host or registrar, only the individual sites but if GoDaddy is a host to many of them (hundreds to thousands to tens of thousands) then it may be easier to just block their IP range.

yes,especially the guys change their ip every other day at godaddy.

I've been getting tons if BOTS from GoDaddy servers (email phishers, screen scrapers, hack attempts, port scans), so I've beened much of Goddady as well. Maybe China did this same.

Not True. Only Blogspot was blocked for a day -- that too some dumb-*** at VSNL did a wildcard block.

Everyone -- including all mass media -- was up in arms against government for giving this order and they later refuted that they even did pass those orders.

So, don't post things you have no idea about. No blocking of Google or Yahoo or MySpace in here -- and neither it will ever be.
