Sorry, but I don't get it! What can you optimize on a dotmobi domain name that you can not optimize on .com, .net, or .org? If you want to dedicate a .com domain to mobile users, just do it! What's the problem with the "first domain name optimized for consumers using the Internet on a mobile device" and how is it different?Dotmobi provides the first domain name optimized for consumers using the Internet on a mobile device.
ICANN is at it again... printing their own money.
.mobi is just as optimized for phones as .800x600 is for those people who refuse to up their monitor resolution...
This is a pointless extension if you ask me. As far as I'm concerned, any .com holder should get first rights to any new extentions, expecially ones like this that no doubt are meant to work with an existing .com.
