Re: google PickyDomains.Com Announces Domain Name Service - WebHosting.Info

I submitted quite a bit of names a while ago, but got no response. I don't like how there is no control panel from where we can see all of our submissions. It makes me question the honesty of the site, since I don't get to see the names the clients pick. Also, it would be better if client was able to provide feedback to help narrow down the search.

Finally, I have a feeling when a client requests a name, they are simply given a few options with no explanation. For example, every single one of them wants .com only, even a small a/c delivery company who wants people to feel like they are their next door neighbors. I found a ton of great domains available in the .us extension, which would only add to that hometown feeling they desire so much, but there is no way for me to convey this to the client, since the script automatically rejects names that don't match the criteria. I understand why it is set up like this, I just wish they would provide more info to the clients, who are most likely non-domainers and have no clue what a .us extension is.

    Anyone else try this yet?

Haven't tried it, but I am weary of loading up their database with my picks.

I'll reg those myself, but not a bad affiliate opportunity for those with large data-mined lists. I'm sure they would love content to offer.
