Lightbulb Google sued (Transparency - search term $rate secrets)

Google again charged with improper advertising/marketing practices, who knows if the charges will stick, but it definately a pattern, one wonders if other search engines are also using same practices. Transparency, Transparency, Transparency.

Seems everyone wonders why google, yahoo,... will not allow visibility regarding search term click through rates ?

Transparency-Transparency-Transparency

Unless the human written language (especially english) somehow becomes a thing of the past. Your generic domains continue to be the guaranteed path to that product or service.

Direct Navigations is the clear winner again.

Here is the article about the charges levied against our leading search engine AGAIN

F*cking b*llshit...these idiots run a campaign for CLICKS and then get upset when their program or page does'nt convert..I can nearly guarantee you they did this (ran the ppc campaign) on purpose with Google to try to build a case against them and turn it into a class action lawsuit..these pencil neck would be do-gooders only want to recover millions of dollars in advertising money so THEY can get a big fat hefty chuck of it! Google runs ads on domains that WE PARK to make a living for money and it keep's the advertising/marketing world turning as well as the domain market, etc, etc. Lawsuits like this are designed to do one thing and one thing only..make the legal firm ALOT of money. Funny how everyone has the same motivations. Let me make one thing perfectly clear here...the ADVERTISER chose to run the campaign..GOOGLE does NOT guarantee conversions, if they found it was not working for them then they could stop it at any time! This also is a very small amount of money they spent and they are not assigning any value or credit to google for the branding and exposure their website/products/services received! There is a "pipe-line" effect where would be customers contact you later on down the road and end up doing business with you, esp. in a scenario where it's legal services involved! It's not like that kind of conversion happens overnight or it was a simple consumer point of sale conversion like buying a t-shirt online, etc. I think these idiots have unrealistic expectations about online advertising and do not have a fundamental understanding of the PPC market. It, quite simply put, is AVERTISING and as we all know...advertising budgets are for spending and they get spent. That's the cost of doing business! They potentially could ruin domain parking as a result of this and really hurt Google who simply has provided us all with a platform to make money, find what we want online, & advertise to customers. They simply cannot be held accountable for clicks that did not convert as long as those clicks were real and deemed to be generated by real human beings on the Internet. Maybe their offer sucked or their landing page was shitty and nobody wanted to do business with them. There is a very BIG difference between what PPC really is and what these lawyers seem to incorrectly interpret it as!

the suit is without merit. too small a sample and the site being promoted is poor at best.

It's amazing how someone can run a 2 month $887.67 ad campaign and then sue Google when they get 0 conversions.

Anyone seen their site?
No wonder it's not converting.
Seems like they need to hire webmaster instead and will convert better

People have a misguided notion that if they invest in something that they THINK will make them money in vast amounts, that its supposed to happen that way..

When it doesn't work THE WAY they want it, they get mad and raise a stink or just go underground..

In this case, the dude must have spent the last of his money and quit his job thinking he was going to score big..

People'll sue for anything these days..

Hey, can I sue my personal trainer for not getting the results I wanted? I know I only did half the exercises he showed me and probably didn't even do them right - but still - it's his fault I'm not in shape!

I would imagine that it was written this way on purpose with a lawsuit in mind from the beginning. Take a look at http://levitteinternational.com/. Study basic HTML for a day and you can write something more exciting that this!

No clients HAVE contacted them so they have nothing to do. so they sue Google. LOL
I don't think it Google's fault they are not good enough to get referrals from prior clients or find any customers any other way.
