That article was very misleading to people who know nothing about domains.
Sure it's an extra layer of protection but it makes readers think that their domains will be stolen if they dont. Plus it's an extra security measure, but there are still ways to steal if the thief is clever enough and the domain owner is stupid enough!Some registries offer the option of locking domain names, which prevents someone from stealing your domain name.
He 'sometimes missed renewal deadlines'??? He didn't get them back after multiple emails even through the redemption period? He's an idiot.
