I am waiting for the messages from dot asia company concerned with the .asia domains I applied.

I understand that the domain auction will start on 17/03/08 and today is 16 and so far I haven't received anything from them about the domains I have been successful and the domains going into auction.

I am feeling frustrated about this.

How about you? Have you received any messages concerned with .asia domains you applied?

If they're contended, they will go to auction. If they're not, and you have given a registry your payment details, they will (read: should) register it for you. I wouldn't panic until the release date. BUT, if you have one on order, you should have had a notice from your registrar that you are in the 'queue'.

I'm just wondering how this will actually play out...

The .asia information is a bit flaky to say the least. I have spoken to 3 .asai registrars and they all dont know whats happening. perhaps later on the 17th something will hapen

yes, they have to act quickly as the auctions will start from 17 and 17 is tomorrow. How do we bid on auctions without any info.

I know that list but the problem is we don't have any confirmation about these auctions.

e.g. log in details for auction at pool etc... The auction is starting tomorrow and we don't have any info apart from those lists which are essentially just lists, nothing more.

has anyone got the list of pioneer domains that have been claimed or the sunrise list.
loads of the domains on the single lists seem to have been already claimed by the pioneer groups etc.

what i meant is the list JUST with pioneer ( as that list includes pioneer and single domain grabs )

dotasia have not got a clue - too busy selling off thier "pioneer" domains

I registered about 10 with eurodns, got the email confirmation for each. I noticed about a week later they were not in my account and not in the pending area. I contacted eurodns and asked why they were not in my account.i was told they would not show up if the domains are allready registered in the sunrise. i asked why no email confirmation, then was told payment has been rejected by our payment system.

well it worked out for the better. i dont know what i was thinking

guys don't worry if you look at the dot asia link on pool.com you'll see that they only auction off about 40 names a day, so I'm thinking it will be a while before all the auction starts are even processed

Excellent just checked and ALL of my preregistration will be going to auction.
Looking forward to that then
