Thumbs up ICANN gives thumbs up to .sux TLD

Rumors have it that ICANN is to finally approve the .sux TLD after an act was passed to protect freedom of speech on the internet. Now users can register TM names without restriction as .sux domains represent personal websites that express personal opinion.

ICANN has only just now (this week) announced it's taking comments on the RFP for new "sponsored" domains. With this being the case, I believe the statement is a hoax. First, who would be the sponsoring organization for this?

....Okay, maybe the ACLU would do such a thing, but would they put up the 100 grand to put that out as a public proposal?....Okay, maybe the would, but I still don't think the conservative ICANN't would accept it.
