    Lightbulb lifesaver.com - Int'l corporations behind eightball

One wonders if the wrigley's company (owner lifesavers) recognized(s) the marketing value of domain names ?

Did a little research and found that lifesavers.com is currently a parked page with links to just about all industries.

With both lifesaver.com and lifesavers.com, wrigleys could easily grow the lifesaver product line recapturing what little upfront investment they spend(t) on capturing the two lifesaver(s).com domains.

Always amazing how un-informed or hardheaded the major corporate Marketing leaders are regarding domain name value. Wrigleys.com is also not associated with the Wrigley's. Their primary website is candystand.com, which is great, but what a waste of re-branding costs.

Maybe this sale of lifesaver.com was to the wrigley's Co. But with their not already owning lifesavers.com, I would assume their marketing leadership was/is behind the eightball regarding domain name direct navigation marketing.
