already have my last name and my nickname ( gino ).
Real curious to see what the Very common names go for (john.me etc)
The problem with domain auctions is it's usually domainers doing all the bidding. Somehow they
need to advertise this ad nauseum so the general public has it stuck in their heads to go and make
some bids........
HighPriceDomains.com ! The World's most Expensive domain names
I did not comment because I did not know how to do that which of course I do but only because it is so odd they did not arange it in alphabetical order in the first place for easy surfing.
I wouldn't want only my first name. It's not really personal if it's corey.me That could be many corey's in the world. I registered my .me coreymanshack.me my first AND last name. I love my .me domain![]()
Not sure it works for me...
eg As a site.... www.james.me or, email.... info@james.me
Looks odd...and, doesn't really make sense...

I am happy with my .com domain.
My name was taken in .me, but having run the GoDaddy search the .ws is available...
Anybody foresee .ws promoting themselves in the same manner as .me?

John.me will probably go for the highest price since it's such a common name.
Obviously the winning bidder won't be called John and of course this domain will probably never be used.
The real Roberts or Johns or Edwards or Steves would, I'm pretty sure, much rather register a creative .com/.net./.org for $x than pay $xxx+ for something as uninspired and childish-sounding as their first name .me.
"Me.John" would be good compared to "John.Me" which is backwards and nonsensical and a reason I could never understand the popularity of dot-me.
Is GoDaddy's Bob Parsons still using BobParsons.me? At least Me.BobParsons would make at least a little sense if it was available (it will soon be avaialble if Bob buys the bobparsons extension when the unlimited new extensions are ready for sale).
my name is Artyom and I have artyоm.nаme
how lame, they donthave most popular first names in their list.. e.g. JAY.me :(

I own JonHall.org and JGH.biz and wonder why every time that I renew them. There is plenty of vanity out there though and the .ME registry is the master of marketing.
It will be interesting to see if .ME has staying power or not. It might but I don't think it will at the inflated prices that have been paid for some names. CoolStuff.ME is my only .ME name and it will likely stay that way unless someone wants to buy it, of course! I own lots .US, .BIZ, and .INFO. I have done OK on them. For the most part though a decent .COM names is worth several 'good' new extension names. Few peoples (potential customers or domainers) 'dream' names end in anything but .COM.
