Now through VeriSign's Secondary Market Program, names available in the secondary market can be viewed by all buyers and sellers using the same Registar process as the primary market. VeriSign's SMP will bring the secondary market into the mainstream of domain name registration.
As of today, the Greatdomains.com website is a valuable resource to help you take advantage of all that the VeriSign Secondary Market Program has to offer.
It provides details on:
* what you need to do whether you are a buyer or a seller
* which registrars are participating
* Key Dates for offering listings and when buying can begin
* the advantages of the Secondary Market Program
* the history of the secondary market

Actually, it sounds interesting if GD can pull off their plan. Success will depend on the participating registrars. Enom appears to be on the list already:
