that's interesting focus i got a question.let's say that a very popular website like "change.org" emerges.is it possible that the popularity of that extension can increase as well? giving more value to other domains? i know .com is king but if a site like change.org is out it can encourage people to look up more .org names .us,.info's etc. right?

absolutely awesome to see a candidate and now president embrace and use the internet the way Obama has. (Unlike Gore who invented the internet but probably could not turn a PC on)

hey Doc....I give credit when I think its due and I admit you have impressed me many times with your knowledgeable posts but surely you know Gore never claimed to have invented the internet.

If you don't like Gore thats fine with me....many people don't, but everytime I see this misleading statement I'm obliged to correct it because of my full support with his global warming awareness work.....its usually made by those much less informed than you appear to be.

This is the type of news and/or pundit commentary that is lacking in the USA Mainstream Media.

If more people were made aware of geo-politics things might actually change.
Then again you have to get people like "Joe the Plummer" and "Joe six-pack "to care about such things....
