Country: | Yet... the media coverage of the pizza.com "sale" has come and gone, and the impact on the domaining industry has been felt.
How long will it be before the mainstream market *truly* catches on to the vagaries and shill world that accompanies 6,7 and 8 figure domain names ?
Hold and develop. It's worked for us for 10+ years

DNF$: 2,265 Location: DomainNameWire.com | I'm not sure why everyone is saying that the whois has changed to a private registration. It's been a private registration for many years. The only difference now is that Chris Clark's name isn't on it. |

That's misleading. It takes less than a day to push at Network Solutions. It's also locked. It's not transferring anywhere. The guy is still getting traffic from the fake sale. http://www.alexa.com/data/details/tr...3m&size=Medium

DNF$: 2,935 | Yeah, disappointing, but I could still see this domain being worth big money. In my book it is still a far better domain than Candy.com.

DNF$: 2,935 | I am sorry, we won't be stopping in Prague. We're straight on the Pendalino for Ostrava. My partner is from Opava.
Busy week I am afraid, what with Family, Renovations on our new home to sort out and a Wedding to go to things will be pretty hectic!

Mr. Clark would of been smarter to hold on to it for a while longer and he might possibly been able to get even more than 2.6 but I'm guessing A-1 came along and offered him close to one million and being disappointed with how the sedo sale turned out, took it. |

Country: | Does anyone know why the initial sales of both Pizza.com and Israel.com fell through? Were the auctions sabotaged by completely illegitimate bidders? I ask because one would assume that genuine verified bidders would end up getting sued for not completing the transaction, yet there doesn't seem to be any word of that happening so far as I know.
