    You have to assume that the seller had already knocked on the doors of all the major pizza chains, with no result.

    With that in mind, c$1.6m is a very good price IMO. If none of the big end users want it at the moment, the only thing left for the buyer is to monetize it properly which may cost another chunk.

    I would be glad to pocket that amount for it with these factors in mind, and I would wish the buyers good luck - if they managed to move the name on for a lot more, good on 'em!

    One thing that many domainers seem to assume, is that the big end users will eventually 'get it'....you have to work on the assumption, that they won't.

    This name was a shining example of that. On the face of it, you would've thought that this was an easy sell; catagory killer name; huge corporations with vast advertising budgets; plenty of publicity; what went wrong? The missing ingredient was the need/desire - they just didn't think they needed this name to further their businesses.
