When I went down in the middle of the auction to get a bidder paddle, nobody was at the RickLatona.com booth outside the ballroom. A sign said to register inside the auction room, but when I went in, I didn't see anyplace to register. (I would have been outbid on the ones I wanted anyway.) I'll have to sign up in advance for the Moniker auction tomorrow.

It's a funny scene - not many more than a dozen people seated in this ballroom, and another 20 or so standing around the edges (mostly in the back) chatting. Still, a fair number of active bidders in this small crowd. (Maybe there were more earlier, before I showed up.)

Overall it was seller beware...some great names changed hands at bargain prices.

Just wondering what domains... people think were sold at a great price for the seller?

I agree, has the potential to sale for 10-20-30X this to an end user. Its all a matter of time and who can afford to wait.

Yessir, was surprised, but not really at the same time it sold for so cheap... I expected at least high xxx,xxx or low 1,xxx,xxx

I think Boy.com was really cheap, it is so easily brandable in a number of different ways.

Boy.com - Could be used as an ezine, a young mans fashion outlet, lifestyle site, indeed anything and everything young men are interested in. Of course it could also be used as an adult site aiming at the female market!

$45k was way less than what I expected it to go for, when I saw it in the list I immediately thought it was $xxx, xxx's, but then again there were obviously no end-users at the auction. This is the biggest problem the domaining industry faces, how do we get end-users to such auctions so that they would bid against each other? If anyone knows the answer to that question they will become very wealthy indeed.

skidder/s was cheap also. Sell one and they get their money back.

commercialbonds.com & stockinvestments.net were pretty cheap also. Excellent for long term income return.
