I don't think he sells many names does he? If this isn't a reason to wait for an enduser what is? At the same time it took 11 years. Congrats!!

when i started in the domain biz, i invested for the long term 10+ years. and Rick is an example for profit. It would take some people 20 years if their lucky to have a retirment plan with 750K.,, all it took is one domain!

I agree, but one thing is for sure.. he is an excellent sales man.... i bet majority of us would have sold the domain for 10-100K

turned down an offer of $250,000 the next day?

More confirmation that Direct Naviation / URL type-in at the Address bar is the way of the future.

Tony, great chances he taken it to CNN's door or at least actively prepared the sale.
Otherwise how do you explain why he purchased to his previous owner the domain i-report.com (you will share that's a domain of no/low interest). And more when it apears the purchase was done around a year ago, few months after the launch of the CNN service. I think he was simply securing the possible exit doors.
