Why did they do that? I assume TM reasons, otherwise makes no sense.sedo banned all candidate name domains from its marketplace.

A misspelling and a '-' make for an awful name. I'll split things 50/50 if I can submit a 'hand selected' list of my domains to the guy who bought this name if the sale is real! None of my hyphens are even misspelled! When this deal goes through Sarah Palin might actually be a good candidate for office!

Looks like a fake bid to me.
Highest bidder joined a few days before the sale and the highest bid prior to his was $1.01
Maybe I need to put mine up on Ebay!
sarapalin.com
The domain on ebay is not misspelled. It is her actual name.
The thread starter misspelled the domain.
Now for the people that regged sarapalin.com and palinsucks.com now that right there is a goldmine
Actually now that I look it was the correct spelling:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Sarah-Palin-com-...d=p3286.c0.m14
The poster just got it wrong. Apparently it does get a lot of traffic. But if the Reps dont win I can see the numbers plummeting very fast.

Hard to imagine that this sale is legit.
Hi,
I will sell: bidenplagiarism .com and/or josephbidenvicepresident .com for a LOT less and the spelling(s) are correct and its a true story...at least the "first" domain listed is a true story...LOL
Peace!
Dan

Fake or not...i don't think we have seen the last of Sarah Palin. If obama wins...i bet you next election that Palin will try to run for republican party.
We'll know more Thursday. Agree with her or not, her depth of knowledge seems very light and that 'bridge to nowhere' story is a flat out lie. She was for it until it was impossible to be for it and then she kept the money. She may make Senator or Representative from Alaska (they may need one soon!) but unless and until she learns a whole lot more I believe that even Republicans will question running her again.Fake or not...i don't think we have seen the last of Sarah Palin. As to the name, I would have loved to have thought to register it. On the other hand, if I had a spare $10K (and I did my limited part helping make Verisign richer yet buying a $1.2K name last week - chicken feed to a few here!) I would invest it elsewhere. $10K is a lot of PPC and I am not quite sure who is going to want to buy the name in the 'after' after market or what one would do development wise.
