just discovered science.tv has a current high bid of almost $38k at the moment and still 2 days 16h to go:

What's surprising is that the Reserve is not met yet!

Good name for the .TV extension. Seller suggests commercial backing/focus could take name to proper level.

What about the renewal fee here ?
Even if you negociate, you have no guarantees that .tv corporation will keep your prices at a low level, especially if your website gets success.

"Uncertainity" is the word for .tv domains.

Its like they want to take portion of your hardwork. Thats just nuts. Somebody has got to regulate this.
