Sedo auctioning option gone?

I have a domain listed at sedo. After a first counteroffer on the original bid was rejected, the potential buyer made a new offer. I would like to start an auction with this bid, but can only see the options to accept the offer, stop negotiating or make a counterbid again.

Can anyone tell me how to start the auction? I cannot seem to find the option in my sedo control panel. Or is starting an auction no longer possible when you already made a counterbid (which was rejected and followed by a new bid from the potential buyer)

I was in the same situation but was able to start an auction. It was at the very bottom of the page. But...I received no other interest by going to auction; I understand this is very common unless there is significant traffic. While you have nothing to lose by going to auction, all it did for me was piss off the buyer who waited a full 10 days to pay.

Did you wait more than 5 days? I believe the auction option is only available for the first 5 days of the 7 day response period.

The past 4 domains that I sent to auction at sedo, only one went up and it only went up by $50. The other 3 sold for what I sent them to auction for. One had a NBP (non-paying bidder) and one is still not paid for as well.

The reason behind not getting any more bids IMO, is sedo simply does not advertise to the Mass. Outside the domaining world, I would bet 98% of people have no clue about Sedo!

Agreed.. Best way to sell a domain is if it gets not much traffic or revenue is to have a big for sale sign up on it.

The auctions seem to have worked normally for me recently.

I made a reasonably good sale a few days ago @sedo using the auction as leverage in the negotiations. I told the buyer I'd accept a lower offer but I'd send it to auction, and agreed to sell directly if he paid what I asked -> he upped his bid considerably to pay exactly what I asked, ostensibly to avoid the auction.
