Question Smartname sending out spam emails to multiple domain whois contacts, how many spammed

Just was spammed today with about 20+ emails sent to various whois email addresses from tolson@smartname.com. I am not a customer of theirs and did not request any contact from them nor did I put myself on any mailing list for their companies or services.

So how many other people were spammed recently by Smartname? Not very professional and pretty f*cking annoying actually. I was just thinking about maybe trying them out and this decided it for me.

News update Smartname, not SMART to spam domainers!

If business is so bad you have to resort to sending out spam emails to try to rustle up new business maybe you should try paying your partners a higher revenue share and maybe your customer base will grow.

Same here. The mails looks familiar to another domaining venture of some kind, that I received in the past.
