GoCarts.com

The people that are auctioning this actually called me on the phone to tell me it was for auction because I have a very popular go kart site.

Its a good name, but mispelled in an event

Its Go Karts NOT gocarts. But it does get traffic. About 1/3 of what the real name gets in direct requests. Which is parked.

We will see what it goes for

Yes. it is a typo. i guess it is ending today on NJ.

Does anyone know why IREIT is selling the best domains in their portfolio in a time when market is down ?

I think they will have to modify their homepage. most of the names listed there no more belong to them.

people get this confused with golf carts, so they assume go carts are spelled that way just as golf carts has golf karts

Thanks

Simple, CASH! No one is spending and no one will for the next 10 years or so. The 80's and 90's are over. The market has crashed if you have not noticed!

No one ? I hope you know candy.com sale got over a few months back. market began to crash somewhere between September - October. its getting better now. at least here in Asia. you always find buyers for the right domains. the market crash has effected the bad combo lll.com and .net's mostly and not generics IMO.

I still remember me posting a lot of " Q" combo lll.net's for 800-850 in 06-07 and they getting sold on the same day. mostly within minutes of the post. it doesn't remain same now.

Btw, does any one know what is the latest bid on tajmahal.com on NJ ?.

80's huh? lmfao

You have NO idea what you are talking about obviously...the domain market is growing by the day...maybe the circles you are in have stopped buying, I know we have'nt.

There is NO better investment on earth than generic traffic domains that earn revenue or can sell products online, we are witnessing a very small window in time in which to buy them. Don't let people feed you misinformation regarding this.

Dont fool yourself... you may be spending cash with your buddies on typos and making money, for the Domainers who invested in the last 2 years in generic domains are now taking hits on their investments. For old school typo money makers like yourself who got cash to kill on the loosers who are loosing in selling. YES That is good!

Just like the real market, people have lost values on their homes and investments, Domain Owners are taking a large hit as well!

Prices have dropped and no end user is spending the kind of money they did 2 years ago. Who cares what you and your buddies do with your money, the fact remains - these so called auction houses are nothing but domainers buying each others names!

END USERS are now thinking twice about spending big numbers on a domain name! End Users vary, and so does their wallets. Let's not get to excited when we see few Domainers buying each others Domains to get publicity!

TajMahal is defiantly more worthier than that typo gocarts.com . hope most of the bidding will happen at the last moment as usual.

It'll be a gem of a catch if someone buys it less than 30k IMO. i personally would have paid 20-25k for it if the stock market hadn't crashed .

Hope some Indian gets it.

Btw, is there any reserve on the domain?.

32K ?. that is insane for a typo if going by parking revenue.

Someone here mentioned there is buying happening in next 10 years or so? i wish it was true. i would then get to taste some monopolism with me being the single buyer.
