I was wondering to... At 153K had the reserve been met?
How did Nerd.com do?
Tractors.com made the reserve, I missed nerd.com though (to busy answering emails about .st).

Can you blame them!
Last thing what i saw 4 minutes to the end that it didn't met the reserve at $ 100 K for nerd.com
Wouldn't it be wonderful, if sedo set it up so that people actually know what the result was. I assume their doppy system informs winners/other bidders.
What a bunch of muppets. It is like watching a football match for ninety minutes and then missing the goals in extra time.
If it is such a bloody secret then why show us at all?
Yours, Rubber Duck
Please note that any historic offers over a month old are null and void.
[speculation]
Well, I don't know how well they qualify the buyers, but if the regular sales are any indication it could be a high % of fake bids. That may be one reason why they might not want to show any auction results until they are paid for and done. Would look bad to see a lot of "Sold" names never showing up in the sales list.
It would also look bad to see a high % of names listed as "not sold" because they didn't meet reserve.
[/speculation]
That's a good point. Their verification system was good to introduce, but is full of holes.
I think you can text verification .LOL![]()
pRED
As long as you placed a bid you could see end results just can't see if reserve was met...I assume if the name is still for sale it didn't sell ;-)
tractors.com 153,500
equipment.com 60,000
nerd.com 100,001

sedo needs to get off their ass and answer some customer questions first at the forums. This whole PPC drop is turning into a huge scandal.
So are people backing out once they win? Otherwise all of the domains set to auction should be selling.
From what sedo indicates the auction starts when a reserve price is set/met and even if the domain doesn't get further bids, the domain then sells to the initial bidder who met the reserve:
"If your domain does not receive additional bids during the auction period the buyer's initial offer is still binding and wins the auction."
Supposedly and according to sedo that is not the only way to get on the auction list. If you contact a sedo broker and offer a name, reach a reserve price etc, they will add it if they feel you are reasonable. So.... I did just this, was very reasonable etc. Reply was as follows, " sedo has decided to NOT add any domains to the auction that have not first had a bid that was accepted ". Therefore their sedo/broker add your name option is BS. I can imagine they get a ton of shit requests but the premium names deserve attention. Below is taken from their site...
brokerage Auctions for Premium Domains
If your domain qualifies you will work in collaboration with a Sedo Broker to determine an optimal auction strategy and reserve price. In addition, your dedicated Sedo Broker will prepare for a successful auction by promoting the listing to potential buyers
hhhmmm premium generics in top extension or 2-3 words with a $60 start..lmao Sedo is the best![]()
cheers for that Jp, saves me wasting my time then, as was considering. we have to get bid first?
cheers, Pred
Yes you must first have a offer you have decided to take and choose to go to auction.
Hopefully they will make the other option available soon as advertised.
Let's hope so.
