GoDaddy already takes over the DNS of domains that are proved to be spam and abuse centers.
The whole request is not thought out well though as they admited that it's not yet clear how they'll deal with domains who's content is legal in the US but illegal abroad...
there is also the issue of punishing somebody without having an absolute judgement by a legal authority...
VeriSign has already withdrawn its request again..
