Re: From .web to Drop Guru

I should point out that I do not personally own ANY .web names. I felt that it was unethical to gather a portfolio for myself.

IOD owns its business name, a number of "registry" names, nic.web and the.web for our services.

Oh, wait, I take it back - I did register two names. punk.net (I ran the Punknet Internet cooperative at the time) and rhps.web (RHPS is the Rocky Horror Picture Show, a guilty pleasure of mine). I suspect I'll remove them when we're close to being added to the roots (which I still believe will happen, just not as quickly as I'd like).

I'm also pissed off at Amazon for putting my name last. I wrote 4 out of the 7 chapters, plus the introduction. I'm first in the book, dammit!

Thankfully, whois-search didn't find any of my other crazy activities.

Seriously, though - my life's an open book pretty-much.

Chris - I love your dropshark program - use it every day and it has simplified my life a bit, thank you

But I am confused - what is the purpose of this post?

Parades are for astronauts and war heroes. I'd rather have a Winter home in the Bahamas and 10 beautiful women for a photoshoot on my back deck. But that's me.

If only we could all be so fortunate to find a computer nerd who's also a model!
