The parents paid for a service provided by the hotel, many people use this service everyday throughout Europe.

What I think is disgusting is the blacks and asians saying if she were either black or asian then there would not be as much media coverage but had she been black or asian then she would have received a lot more, just look at race crimes because under 10% of race crimes on whites are reported while over 80% of race crimes with whites attacking other races are reported on news stations and newspapers.

Speculation, as far as i know as facts, she was left home alone, to me thats the fault of the parents!

I don't know why you bring race into this? i never talked about race, blacks, asians etc. i dont care if her parents are now millionaires either as a result of this, im just making a point that her parents made a mistake, there is no need to take it out on others. They used the media to the max to squeeze funds + information to find their girl when many go missing every day who dont even get near 1% of such media attention! so a domainer is cashing in the story too, so what? newspapers cash in the story by putting it in their front page sell more papers, celebs and businesses cash in by sponsorships etc. etc.

This was about domainers exploiting the find Madeleine campaign, and i said there is nothing wrong with it when businesses and celebrities and the media have done this very thing! Of course i dont feel happy this little girl is lost, but unlike many i don't feel completely sympathetic with the parents when initially i think they were at fault! This is just one more sad event!

People are setting up sites with Adsense etc and have several pop ups for adult toys etc. A few sites have already been removed from what I've read, the sites were related to Loans, Dating and Adult material and when people are looking to get information or read the story and then getting dirty adult sites its totally wrong.

There is a couple very wrong things about snapping up typos on something like this. It diverts eyeballs away from legitimate information that might aid in finding the little girl and instead directs that traffic to some sleazy ppc effort to profit by it. Then this sheds a very bad light on domainers and our legitimate business and makes us all look like the slimeballs who endorse this kindof stuff. That costs us money down the road for those that can't see past their "chump" change. Sure news media can exploit this stuff too, but they then report the real information and direct people to the real authorities or site etc. I don't see any effort on the part of the above example with it's ads for models etc.

This is every parents worst nightmare, the child is 4 years old for god sake, and we have no ideas as to what the motives where, and its something I just cant bear to even think about. For once the media spin is doing something that is right.

I appreciate that kids go missing everyday, and for whatever reason this young one has captured the hearts of the world, its nothing about race, color or creed this is the a world saying "We have had enough"

I am not a God fearing man, but I have to say every night I pray for that childs return.

Very sad about the little girl and I hope they find her alive. Domain parking, is debatable since it's happening in the industry we are in. Free Enterprise is my first thought, but on a sad story like this, I would have only bought it to help spread the word to find the child. NOT MONETIZATION.
