Whats this thing about drops have stopped?

I been reading around and have the impression that expiring domains will no longer dropped, for at least another few months, is this true?

so for the next 3 months, no domains will be dropped and services like snapnames are useless?

sorry if its a dumb question, just need some info so I wont waste my time hunting and investing in some back ordering services.

Yep, but NOT for three months ... I believe you'll be able to start fulfilling your fantasies (finding drops once again) by Feb. 1st.

I got a letter from name winner, I thought it staed March first, like this is the " redemption period" before the wait list servece starts. Anybody?

well, if the 30 day redemption grace period (RGP) has been implemented...
30 days from Jan 25 would be Feb 24 so ~Mar 1 (more or less)
