    What it means is that where it is difficult to get buyer and seller to spill all the details, it is far more likely that genuine deals are going down.

    There wouldn't be a thread on this subject at all if someone close to the 'deal' hadn't 'leaked' the details of the pending sale and domain names, so it seems strange that the same person couldn't confirm the sale. I wonder why...

    I think there are now investors involved, that's why we are seeing or hearing about these sales. Next will be end-users -- Coming soon to a theatre near you!

    To add to the secrecy, IDN buyers often use anonymous whois. So not only the deals are private, you don't even know who bought them.

    Open bidding and selling of high value IDN is an exception rather than the norm.
