Take a look at these. Men.com apparently went for $1.32 Million four years ago. http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/dom...es01_06_04.htm Men.org sold by the same seller last night for $12,500. http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2004/domainsales01_06_04.htm Hello! What it means is that where it is difficult to get buyer and seller to spill all the details, it is far more likely that genuine deals are going down.

| Platinum Lifetime Member | LoL. Thanks for that... There wouldn't be a thread on this subject at all if someone close to the 'deal' hadn't 'leaked' the details of the pending sale and domain names, so it seems strange that the same person couldn't confirm the sale. I wonder why...

To add to the secrecy, IDN buyers often use anonymous whois. So not only the deals are private, you don't even know who bought them. Open bidding and selling of high value IDN is an exception rather than the norm. ![]() Last edited by touchring; 09-25-2008 at 05:36 AM.. | |
