CHINESE.COM on Sedo ending today Current bid $567K
If this sale goes through (unfortunately always a question mark on sedo auctions and the like) it will be a great boost if it makes the press for both sedo and domaining in general.
I must admit it is a great domain, development oportunities seem boundless.
To the present owner my hearty congratulations, a great domain.
Now at 420,000 Euros.
Bidder 13 bids again ....... now 422,500 Euros
Bidder 15 puts bid of 425,000 Euros in...........but
Bidder 13 has already place a bid of 425,009 Euros......... this is the highest
Bidder 15 bids 427,509 Euros ..............but
Bidder 13 has already placed a bid of 428,889 Euros ......... these two are fighting for it!
Bidder 15 puts in a bid of 431,389 Euros
Bidder 13 comes back with a bid of 433,889 Euros............this could go on for hours! Great fun to watch.
15 puts in a bid of 436,389 Euros but 13 has pre-emptied by bidding 438,889 Euros, this is the new high bid
Bidder 15 puts in a bid of 441,389 Euros but is again outdone by bidder 13 who has pre-placed a bid of 443,889 Euros................ and it goes on
NEW Bidder (No. 16) places a bid of 452,500 Euros which out does the bids placed by No. 13 (max. 450,000 Euros)..........has 16 played this game before we ask ourselves?
Battle Royale .............. Bidder 12 re-enters and places a bid of 470,000 Euros but is outbid by 16 with a bid of 472,500.............who else is going to come back in?
No.13 comes back with a bid of 488,888 Euros, but No.16 is there and already has a bid placed and keeps the leaders jersey with a bid of 491,388 Euros........ (don't put down the popcorn folks, this is a real live auction carnival here)
No.13 comes back with a bid of 502,500 Euros, this gives him pole position and outstrips No. 16's reserve bid of 500,000 Euros........... Will No.16 or No.12 fight back, have they got the where-with-all to hit out again?
Here comes No.15, a bid of 507,500 Euros, these are the big players starting to battle it out now!
(Bidding increment is now 5,000 Euros)
This is furious stuff, No.13 comes back with a bid of 555,000 Euros which leaves No.15 in second place with a bid of only 550,000 Euros.
No.13 now holds it at 555,000 Euros.
No's 13 and 12 battle it out up to 600,000 Euros, but look who sneaks in with a bid of 605,000 Euros it's that No. 15 again! Who is still in or out of this auction is anybody's guess.
No's 13 and 15 are slugging it out now but No. 15 leads with a bid of 638,000 Euros! (Could this be a million Euro auction?)
Again 13 and 15 bidding against each other, 15 still holds it but just at 671,666 Euros.
No. 13 sneaks a body blow in and takes the lead at 705,000 Euros against No.15 who bid 700,000 Euros.
Update......... Bidder No.13 leading with a bid of 705,000 Euros.
Don't write No.15 off yet, he is back with a bid of 715,000 Euros and takes pole position
Here comes No. 13 again with a bid of 720,000 Euros but No. 15 has already a reserve bid on the books of 725,000 Euros.
No. 13 tries again with a sneaky bid of 737,777 Euros, but again No.15 has got there first and keeps the lead with a pre-placed bid of 742,777 Euros
No 13 comes back with a great bid of 800,001 Euros and just pips No.15's bid on the books of 800,000 Euros.
No. 13 is pole with a bid of 800,001 Euros ( I bet No. 13 has bid on eBay as well before now!)
A nine minute hiatus in the bidding, thought it was all over, but then as the strong punchy fighter he undoubtedly is No. 15 came back with a new high bid of 805,001 Euros. Is this the knock out bid? Will No.13 come back?.............Only 8 minutes to find out.
No.13 comes straight back with a bid of 810,001 Euros (that is way past the $million mark by the way).
All over, bidder No.13 wins Chinese.com for 810,001 Euros.
Now that was a real tussle for a great domain name.
