WEBC.AM (webcam) was among the first domain hacks (a domain that combines top-level domains forming a word) with renowned ones such as inter.net and blo.gs (sold to Yahoo). Back in the early 2000's WEBC.AM was a popular webcam service used by thousands, thanks, among other things to its unique domain name. Nine years later the service is long gone, the domain however is still registered and more valuable than ever especially with the sale of webcam.com earlier this year, right here at sedo, for over a million dollars!
