Ditto on props for Notepad++ (Notepad Plus Plus). Use it for HTML, CSS, or later, for a LOT of other languages (with color and other support for HTML, CSS, C/C++, Java, Javascript, etc. etc.). Easy for beginners, powerful for seasoned professionals.
